Provide technical support to the Project Team to ensure quality and timely execution of assigned Projects from design thru completion. Functions may include: Scheduling assistance, Subcontractor buyout, cost reporting, preparation of Subcontracts, management of the submittal process, construction quality oversight, data preparation and presentation and Project closeout. May also include a specific technical expertise such as but not limited to; surveying, cut/fill analysis, quality assurance, safety assessments, compliance, etc. Project field engineers must demonstrate knowledge in disciplined engineering principles, practices and methods, environmental regulations, engineering project management methods, workplace safety, budgeting, employee supervision, project procurement processes and personnel management. A project field engineer must be flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. He or she should be competent in handling simultaneously occurring tasks and smaller projects, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
